Since its introduction in June 2004, the TNX has
dominated the U.S. R/C racing truck scene with a series of impressive wins,
including Monster Madness and the Pro-Line Nitro Maxx Challenge. We now proudly
announce our next generation Ready-to-Run nitro monster truck: the TNX 5.2R
which is designed to continue this victorious trend with even greater top speeds
and performance.

The new TNX engine
features a rear exhaust pipe for bursts of power, pushing this R/C Monster truck
to the front of the pack with explosive acceleration and extreme top speeds. The
high performance 5.2cc .32 (cubic inch) engine features a slide valve carburetor
for optimum response. The New TGM-04 chassis features a 2-speed transmission for
reliable shifting and ball pivot suspension equipped with 4 large capacity oil
dampers for excellent handling and stability. The Ultra tough chassis frame
features reinforced and heavy-duty parts built to take on all kinds of terrain.
Steel drive shafts provide improved durability and excellent performance,
without adding unnecessary weight. Fully-equipped weight of the new TNX is
drastically reduced, weighing in at 4,300g. This is a full 100g lighter than the
original TNX, and compares favorably with most 1/10 scale monster trucks.

2-Speed

Compact 2-speed
transmission fitted with a hook style clutch guarantees secure and stable gear
changing. Features metal

spur gear for heightened durability. Slipper clutch protects gears from shocks
and can be adjusted by tightening nut.

4WD

Shaft driven 4WD chassis
transmits engine power from transmission located in the middle of chassis to
front and rear wheels via metal drive shafts. Ball pivot type four wheel double
wishbone suspension and large capacity oil dampers ensure unbeatable off-road
performance.

Fail-Safe

Lightweight and compact
receiver equipped with fail safe device. The device prevents out of control
driving caused by radio interference or low battery power by returning throttle
servo to neutral or Brakes

High Torque Servo

The compact yet
high-torque steering servo accurately guides the 148mm large diameter wheels. It
provides sharp steering response

Full Ball Bearings

A total 26 pcs. of ball
bearings are employed from wheel axles to propeller shafts in gearboxes.
Bearings minimize friction loss, ensure smooth movement and extend life of
rotating parts

Adspec GP 2-channel transmitter

Wheel/trigger type
transmitter included. Simply turn the wheel for steering, pull/push the trigger
for acceleration and braking

Electric Handy Starter Included

Engine can be started
without removing body Set plug heater into the engine and insert starter into
gear unit. Engine can be easily started by pushing button.

TNX 5.2R comes with a Tamiya FR-32FX engine featuring large diameter slide
carburetor, 14mm crank shaft, lightweight piston and large heat sink head. The
monster size engine features 5.2cc displacement and provides enormous power and
blistering fast top speeds that are certain to demolish the competition!

HPI MT2

Probably the best selling point of the nitro-fuelled HPI MT2 is
it’s layouts resistance to the rocks that can damage your truck in any off-road
setting. Along with the same tried and tested layout as the original Nitro MT,
the MT2 boasts stronger gears, larger dog bones and an improved slipper clutch.
The foundation of the MT2 is built tough with a 2.5mm thick purple anodized
aluminum chassis, and a new molded plastic gear guard protects the spur gear
from rocks and debris.

Horsepower?hpi mt2

Equipped with the HPI’s new T-15 engine, the MT2 steps it up a notch in
torque from its predecessor. It provides more mid-range power than previous
motors, while also increasing the top possible speed of the MT2. The T-15 engine
also has a tall cast aluminum heat’sink head which cools it down and lets it run
smoothly. Plus, the 2-needle carb allows you to tune the motor specifically to
your road conditions.

The Look

The MT2 comes stock pre painted with an “inferno” paintjob that’s orange, red
and black with decals, but if heat’s not your deal, you can always customize and
repaint the body yourself, or get a professional to do it. There are tons of
talented artists who customize RC bods, so you’ll find a wealth of painters
willing to help you trick out your ride. The MT2 also comes with HPI’s stock
Yokohama Geolandar M/T tires, pre glued onto chrome Split 5 wheels.

Radio Me Up, Scotty!

The HPI TX-2 radio system is included with HPI RTR kits. It comes with a
narrowband AM transmitter and receiver that work together to ensure precise
handling. Two strong servos are also installed in each HPI RTR Nitro kit,
already plugged into the standard size AM receiver, and a convenient on/off
switch is also included. There’s also a wide range of hop ups available for the
MT2 as well.
